BenQ-Siemens reveals 4 new mobile handsets

BenQ-Siemens has just released 4 new mobile phones that have distinctive features intended for different types of user. The Venus, Hermes, Cupid, and Ulysses units will be on display at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona. BenQ has not yet released a detailed account of the mobile handsets. However, it is expected that they would release an extensive description of the products by next week at its official launch.

The Venus C3 is a phone for the music enthusiast. It has specific buttons for MP3 operation on its front casing. The unit also doubles as an FM radio and sports dense and trendy clamshell architecture. The Ulysses B1 is a 3G handset that has a smooth and elegant body that incorporates style and diverse functionality. It is lighter and denser than the other models in its class. This unit is for the user who wants a versatile phone that could perform various functions, while keeping a sleek image at the same time.

The Hermes B has the best-looking design among the three. Though it is a music-lover’s phone, it is only able of drama basic music-playing functions unlike the Venus C3. The Cupid is an ideal unit for businessmen and decision-making. It has a sleek cover and features slide phone architecture.

Levi’s Launches New Mobile Phone

Anyone can make it in the mobile phone commerce, right? Build a phone and go up against the big boys like Nokia and Sony Ericsson? Easy. Well jeans creator Levi Strauss & Co is surely having a punt with its new, Levi’s phone. A It is the first fashion brand to step up to the mobile plate Prada and Dolce & Gabbana please take a bow and it most likely won be the last.

The Levi’s phone looks suspiciously like the Samsung P300 but we pretty sure the Koreans are involved. The handset, mined from stainless and inward in black, silver and sandy finishes, sports a modest characteristics set. This includes a two-megapixel camera with video, micro SD card slot, stereo Bluetooth, MP3 player and quad-band means for use in America. It also has a Levi’s custom calculated user-interface and 1.8-inch show. We been told Levi’s is at present in talk with the major networks and is looking for a September launch while a SIM-free price has been set somewhere between £270 and £340.
